Hometown disassembled

Last weekend I went home to my hometown for daddys birthday. Every time I drive around to make a check for changes since last time. This time I discovered a lot of missing shops.

But the photoshop was still there, thank God!

The last outhouse

I have been visiting my hometown this weekend. There are a lot of changes coming up. Old houses are planned to be demolished and replaced with something else. It is called development but I don't know. I am not against improvement but some things are better untouched or taken care of in a gentle way. Such as this old forgotten outhouse. I bet noone recognise it but if it was demolished everyone will miss it. I bet noone owns it.

Ascension Day

I spent Ascension Day and the following weekend at my parents new home in Åmål. It was about eight months since.

Coffe at the balcony. Their eagle eyes keep track of all that happens in the neighborhood.

I always make my way to the railway museum to find what's new.

Hometown

Last week I made a visit at my parents to check out the old folks and what is new in my hometown. Everything looks the same. The only visible changes were mom not wearing glasses anymore. She had a surgery recently for cataract and now she has a perfect vision. She's been using glasses all her life but now she just need them for the crosswords and sewing. Maybe I'll make it myself. I strongly dislike my glasses. They are in the way when I'm photographing.
