It's Midsummer Sunday and we decided to have a dinner out of home and went to Brostugan. It's not far to go and when we left there was sunshine but cloudy when we arrived. We ordered and sat down outside. In a while the waitress came with our dinner. Just as we started eating, cats and dogs came down from heaven. Luckily we sat under a canvas roof.

Tree safari - again
Today I spent most of the time in the darkroom while it was showering a lot. When the rain ceased I went out on a tree safari again. I have spotted some more trees to visit. Finally arrived there was a new shower so I had to wait a while. Unfortunately there was sun after rain and the beautiful light under a quilt of clouds vanished. I got some pictures anyway. Here is a couple.

Supernurse
At last my youngest son is finished studying and can start to have fun, meaning work. Yesterday we went to the ceremony at Linköping congress center for the graduation ceremony.

National Day
I went to celebrate the Swedish national day at Hässelby castle today. It is also the day of 6x6 pictures in medium format. I brought my Rolleiflex with a half roll shot and finished it and shot one more. Both rolls are in the dryer. I had a digital backup for the blog and here is one of the pictures today in the ordinary 3:2 format.

Field trip to trees
Made a field trip today between the showers and shot some trees I've spotted. Here are some results. Monochrome, of course.

Mothers Day
Last time I was visiting my hometown and parents coincided with Mothers Day. When it happens I usually take them out for dinner at a nice restaurant. This time we went to Edsleskogs Wärdshus at Lake Edslan. The restaurant is managed by a Dutch family that found it to be a good idea to live in Sweden after 20 years of touristing here. Excellent food and a surprise to drink. Pilgrim well water from the area. Nick, based on the pilgrim saga of 1220. Never heard of it before.
