Think pink
Today is a day when monochrome seems all wrong. The cherry trees in Kungsträdgården is in blossom. So I kindly ask you to imagine the pink trees in my monochrome pictures.

Pan flutes in street concert
Yesterday I had a street photo session. Always on my own because I can't imagine anyone coping my sudden interest in shooting pictures when a situation suddenly appears. Or the waiting for something to happen in a nice environment. This time I bumped into a street concert with south american indians playing the flutes.

Rune stones and Chevy
Yesterday my wife and I went out to Lovö church. She wanted to shoot Rune stones for her stock photo portfolio. And I needed to try my new retro camera. A Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 531/2. Without lens coating since it is a WWII camera. But I shot some with my little Coolpix as well.

At another church I found this beauty. A Chevy Fleetline -50

Possessive instinct
Today I had the chance of laying my hands on the new Fujifilm Finepix X100. Wowowowow... Sigh
Want is a weak word. Desire is stronger. I really tried to find something that is wrong with it but it was hard, really hard. I've only found one big wrong with it. It doesn't accept a roll of Tri-X! The rest is unfortunately just fine.

This will prevent my sleep tonight...

Local engineering summit
Some colleagues and I had a conference about mechanical engineering routines and adaptions to new requirements at SSC. A meeting in good spirit and understanding.

Rosendal in Spring
Last weekend we went to Rosendal in Stockholm. Usually a place full of flowers and vegetables. Now not yet even anything growing in the fields. Lots of people just enjoying the sun and heat.

Photo club meeting
Yesterday we had another meeting at the photo club. All digital contests on the program. I did not participate this time. Forgot to upload pictures. More interesting was the collection of pictures heading for the Trierenberg Supercircuit salon in Austria. We are seven participants from our club. I participate with four monochrome and four colour pictures. Here is a picture from our coffee break.

Review
Today we had a mandatory review with ESA. Giancarlo and Antonio visited us for inspection and review. It is of course a delicate thing to send things into space and we spent the whole day with nice guys before wrapping up in the afternoon. We missed, however, the local celebration at Swedish Space of the 50th anniversary of Jurij Gagarins first manned flight in space.

Network dinner
I am a member of many networks. Several dedicated to photography, of course, and some for my profession as an engineer. A colleague and I invited a small group for dinner at Duvel café. We meet once in a while just for the fun of it to dine and chat. All of us are selfemployed engineers so here we are, a bunch of CEO:s
We rounded up sharing a Golden Dragon.

Lunch
One of my favourite food suppliers is Curry Corner in Sundbyberg. Indian food at its best. Not a fancy place but popular anyway. Across the street is another favourite, a vietnamese restaurant. Within 200 yards from my work I can easily find different restaurants enough for a couple of weeks. But I rarely go to all. Five different a week is quite enough.

Short street walk
I made a short street walk the other weekend and met with another photographer. He identified my gear accurately and we had a nice chat about old cameras. Later I met him again in the subway and I took a shot.
