One of my fellow photographers have an old black Leica M3 with a lot of patina. Sigh...
Rare, least to say. Double sigh...

A weekend with my ol' man
Last weekend my father came to visit. Our goal was to visit the photofair at Stockholm fairs and then the new Photographic museum/gallery. So we did. We spent four and a half hours walking and watching a lot of new camera stuff and the numerous exhibitions at the fairs ending up completely exhausted and fed up with cameras. There is a lot to buy for money but nothing would make you a good photographer.

Domestic weekend
Last weekend was a dull thing. In the middle of the day it was dark! Laundry and a major cleanup on the program. And some still life photography.

Iron horse
I usually go to check the status at the railroad museum when I'm home. This time I found a "brand new" loco on service. I just can't get enough of these wonderful mechanical machines. Happily existing without batteries and electronics.

Work, work, work...
Space is my place at the moment. Designing payload experiments for microgravity. Years of work for a 15 minute flight in space. Lot of things to do and that is what I like the best. Weeks passing swiftly.

An ordinary Sunday
I usually go to church on Sundays. Sometimes I bring one of my cameras for film. Almost always I take pictures in black and white because "black and white are the colors of photography". Well, back to church.

Androids conference
Early every morning at work I find these androids having a meeting. However I have a reason to believe they are telepathic. I never hear even the slightest pip.

Back in Space
I am back in Stockholm and Swedish Space. Designing rocket payloads for scientific experiments in microgravity. Not as glorious as it sounds but very close to where I live. I can start picking up my social life again and be active in my photo club and church. Enough for all the leisure time I have. There will be plenty of photo contests this fall and one large exhibition where I will participate. Glad to be in it again for full.

Friends of DaKiNoLa summit
On December 28 1969 a spectacular group of four irresponsible young boys was born. I don't know what to call it but an adequate comparison would be something like a Swedish Monte Pyton, except for the lack of fame. Fun was the leading word. It lasted for a few years and since then we have met from time to time very irregularly but more regular the elder we get. How's that?

American Car Show in Norrtelje
17 July there was an american car show in Norrtälje, about 50 miles northeast of Stockholm. I went there to get some nice shots of old american cars. There was a lot of more modern cars and hot rods and stuff but my main interest was the older fellas about the same age as my retro cameras =) Here are some pics.

Flea markets rally
Yesterday we scanned the islands of flea markets. My wife made some minor findings and I found a Nikon lens. Well, we found a lot of things of course but looking is half the entertainment.
1882 model. Not for me =)
The baby that owned this vehicle maybe have his own granchildren now.
This veteran was not for sale.

National Day celebration
6 June is the National Day in Sweden. I celebrated it with taking pictures only in 6x6 cm with my Bronica and an old Nettar at the Bergianska gardens.
